In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic intensified, the difficult decision was made to cancel the Clinic’s largest fundraising event. From this cancellation, the Spirit of Schlifer Campaign emerged — this vital fundraising initiative has become central to sustaining the Clinic’s mission and vision.

The funds raised from this campaign will directly go to help women and gender-diverse individuals that access the Clinic’s counselling, legal, and interpretation services. The amount raised will be showcased throughout the campaign and as part of our 2025-2026 Annual Report.
